We were going to call this post something ever so witty like "Ahoy there, matey" or "Hello, sailor" but in the end we couldn't quite bring ourselves to. Regardless, nautical is still a big trend for SS09 (it's one of those trends that seems to go on and on), although this time round designers have taken it a step further than stripey tops and gold buttons, by interpreting all things to do with boats and the sea quite literally through bold prints and details.

  1. Is it safe to say that anything striped or vaguely nautical will always be in style? I think so.

    BTW, nice blog :)

  2. the nautical trend comes around each summer, getting old now i think.

    love your blog, awesome posts

  3. I love the sequined dress Dolce & Gabbana did.
I think it's always such a classy style
